Hi everybody! So, I know there's a lot going on with trying to figure out the Trumps and everything, but I've noticed something that I think is kind of important to address.

A lot of you are really terrible at acting. Sorry. But it's kind of true.

Usually it wouldn't matter, but since investigating is basically a giant improv scenario, I think it's kind of important that people at least know how to pick up on things from their surroundings and use them to try and fit in. I know when I've been investigating, people either not knowing at all what's going on or trying to talk to me like they know me has made me want to never give them any information, ever. [He's not naming names, though Ky.]

So yeah! Um, so I'm gonna hold... improv class, basically. Just tell me what level you think you're at, and a little bit about where you're from so I know what's familiar and not, and then we can come up with stuff! I'll be in the lobby.

[ooc: There will be a log post thing here! You can either use it to take acting as a quick-learn skill, or if you get Phillip or other people to teach you over several liminals characters can pick it up on their own. Or it could just be for fun. Which is will be. Trust me.]

I'm not suited for teaching this kind of thing. [Again, because dignity.]

I'm doing most of the teaching. I could just use some more people for the interactions.

I already said I'm not doing this. [Surely there are plenty of other people who don't care about embarrassing themselves.]

[Maybe a little. Never let it be said that Phillip doesn't know how to guilt trip.] ...Are you doing ok? I didn't see you after the beginning of the last Jaunt.

I'm fine. Wound up with another group of Cryptos, had to do a lot of fighting.

Oh, really? The ones who got stuck in the prison? [since you obviously weren't with his group.]

[There's no laughter - mercifully, she's not capable of sensory livestreaming - but Sabetha's mental "voice" is thick with humour.]

If you want an honest ranking of people's level of skill, why not find a few judges and run them through an opening scenario first? Just something basic, to get a simple piece of information from a partner.

I could do that, but improv can be super uncomfortable for people who are used to acting, so I don't want to scare anybody. [especially with judges.] But if they wanted I could!

Being scared's a part of the point. You get a look at how they react under pressure, and they don't get the chance to lie to themselves about their skills.

I guess that's true. [hm.] I'll definitely give people the option!

Well, if you find yourself requiring another body to help any takers sharpen their skills, flag me down. I do have a little theater experience under my belt.

Eventually. That was after the hell at the communications tower. [Two gigodaemons were not fun to fight. Not that anything is fun.]

With the fight? [He remembers that. PHLP was pretty upset about being forced to the side, considering he and Jos got separated from VINCI.]

The Cryptos were kind of worried about... other things.

[He doesn't mean much more than that Phillip seems to have missed most of the big battles. He'd been involved in a lot of them himself, and he and Phillip had lost track of one another after the beginning of the Jaunt.]

Worried about SAGE. Or was there more than that?

Mostly SAGE. But they wanted to get claim over their structures too so no one could take their secrets.

I suppose if they weren't concerned with secrecy, calling them Cryptos would be ridiculous.

Pretty much. So when that was going on I was trying to help get the archives under control. [except it didn't work whoops.]

You seem to Infiltrate a lot. [Now that he thinks of it, when was the last time Phillip had been himself on a Jaunt? Or has he ever?]

This is the third time in a row. [Yeah. Yeah he's noticed too and he hates it.] The only time I Investigated was my first one, the ball thing.

That seems a bit out of proportion with a lot of us.

So it is unusual. [Phillip thinks the Trumps are just having too much fun putting him in roles that make his Liminal life hard ~~which they totally are~~.]

From what I've seen the past . . . [He pauses a moment to consider, here. Time is difficult with Liminal Space, and all.] year, it usually breaks up a bit more than that. I've only Infiltrated three times, myself.

....Maybe that means I'll get a break soon? [he doubts it.]

Can't really count on that. [With your luck, Phillip? Yeah, don't hold your breath, kid.]

I know. [ugh he doesn't like the Trumps.]

It's unfortunate. [Even Hitsugaya thinks Phillip could use a break, here. And not even because Phillip is a child, but because any of them could use one after so much compressed time of being other people.]

Yeah. I wonder what the next one will be. [maybe if it's harder to put him in death roles the Trumps will stop.]
