I'm sorting them myself this time, since it would seem I can't trust anyone else to take care of that one simple thing and fixing them all would be a little much.

That's the idea, unless someone does something stupid when I'm not here.

And I may mark them with small bits of dye in their fur. It won't hurt them, just let me sort them more quickly. Shouldn't make a difference in the movie itself since we're filming in black and white.

It's probably a little late for that, depending on your definition of unfortunate.

They already had to throw out some footage because two of the gerbils were making more gerbils in the background of a shot. And they were surprised, imagine that.

Well, I don't intend on sticking around here that long, so the fruits of my labor will go unappreciated in my time. Tragic.

I'll be a legend who only worked on this movie before mysteriously vanishing.

So I'll at least have that mystique going for me.

There are worse things to be remembered for, I suppose.

...even if not being remembered for my keen scientific mind seems like such a waste.

Which is why my presence here is baffling, really.
