This is Hajime, we, ah, did that thing where we're both infiltrating and not infiltrating, and there's some kind of space base out here with a lot of aliens bent on conquering Earth to take care of some bioweapon? I just...don't really know what's going on beyond that.

[Ryo cuts in again.]

And we're mantises! Mantis people are normal here! Not many of them, but enough to be normal! IS AMAZING!

Anybody who knew my overlay from back then would be like a hundred years old now. Or dead.

Also, he had hair most of his life, looks like, and brown eyes instead of my shiny ones. So it's possible, maybe, but not really likely.

Cuz yeah. I'm not sure if I'll actually look anywhere, it depends on what I find from lookin' electronically like this. Claudia and Minako are looking into it, too.

I didn't either until I had one. Just stick something in her mouth or give her something to flail around with, and she's usually happy.

I know how to disappear, but only to deserted planets not usually considered habitable, or to prison. Doubt Dara went that way.

If she found out the wrong information, or annoyed the wrong person, it would be very possible.

If she's been imprisoned, there will be a trail. Not necessarily an easy one to find, but a trail nonetheless.

From what I've found so far, she quit the big project she was workin' on, and that's when she disappeared.

Kinda makes me wonder if she got so pissed about whatever it was that made her quit, that she went underground to try and stop it. Or, yeah, prison.

There is another possibility. Large corporations can be more ruthless than criminal syndicates when it comes to keeping their secrets.

Well, yeah. It's possible she's dead. But you'd think if a body turned up, there'd be some kinda news about it. She was famous.

Which kinda makes me wonder about how little news there is here.

It is...not uncommon, during wartime, for news reporting to be suppressed. If someone did want her to disappear, they may have also wanted to bury the story to minimize the risk of people searching after her.

Shit, Liara, it ain't uncommon in peacetime either, depending on where you're at. I'm digging, and Claudia's got some hacking going on. Hopefully we'll pull something up that we can work with.
