I probably should check in. I'm myself, Adversary of Memory, I think. Incidentally, if you see me walking around in an ugly jacket, it's not me and I apologize in advance.

I'm trying not to get involved still, but the Conductors said some stuff to me and I can't keep it to myself.

Uh, first of all if you bring up Harbingers or Starmovers in front of them you might wind up with a fight on your hands, just FYI.

They told me the reason they're so keen to hold on to the Bident thief is that he threatened to... maybe not personally destroy all Conductors, but to see them destroyed. Their leader compared him to a group of conspiracy theorists from my world who come to those ideas out of a particular, uh, racial animus. She walked it back when I pressed her on it - anger does seem to be the one negative emotion these guys get to have - but if he hurts someone and I didn't say anything...

I kind of started on it, but then the monkey kept trying to send me on a quest like the whole reason I'm on the islands isn't that I don't want to go on a quest. Negotiations fell apart pretty quick after that.

Basically it absorbs dream energy. You can make one out of this place and it'll absorb nightmares, which you can use as raw liminal material for abilities. Here you can use it as a battery to drain for your abilities rather than your own reserves. It's not an instant refill, it takes time for it to fill up, but it's helpful.

Generally it's an item of significance to you. You don't have to have it visible - mine's in my coat. ... Robe now, I suppose.

If I find him I can portal him into my room and remove the exit. Anything I might care about him breaking is already stowed away.

They're extremely convenient, especially if nightmares are a regular thing.

Though they're generally memories, in my case. Fittingly enough.

A horse-sized green dragon, actually. But she usually has to infiltrate as some kind of lizard. She's large this time, but still a lizard.

However due to my role, apparently she's just running around looking like me the entire time. I've been told she's skipping, which is just... no.
