So. Who needs paperwork?

I wanted to make sure mine would pass the sniff test before offering it to anyone else, but it just did - and this is not my first papers-falsifying rodeo. I can do passports and tourism or work visas, but you're on your own for the casualty insurance, if you've been playing a role where picking that up is a thing.

Got a stable place for the week - I can meet people in Liminal from there, but between the amped-up security and the fact that they know we're a thing in general terms, be really super careful about where you decide to put your portals.

... I think I might need some papers. I'm a tourist from the country side and I made a lie that I forgot my papers to my hotel room. They didn't take it very well and gave me a warning.

Did you have a particular country in mind?

I said I was from the countryside of Sweden. I saw the name somewhere, otherwise I don't have any knowledge of countries.

Scandinavia's big on 'so-and-so's kid' style last names. if I were taking this less seriously, I'd be tempted to grab an Ikea catalog and give you a random-piece-of-furniture last name, if you needed it, but it's better to stick close to what you have.

It's a flat-pack furniture store - because they make you assemble it yourself when you get home, they can sell it virtually everywhere at really cheap prices. It's notorious for being really difficult to put together, and sometimes worth exactly what you paid for it and not a bit more. But it's better than, say, not having a bed frame at all.

In other words they give you the materials, the instructions and a pat on your back for good luck. Doesn't sound very customer friendly.

The people who work there are decent, at least in my experience. And you can get bigger stuff delivered. But that is basically what they give you.

At least the instructions are in pictures, not Swedish.

Dude, I wouldn't wanna argue with them either. I don't think anyone's gonna fault you for wanting to avoid that. I just wanted to be sure it'd work before offering it to everybody - if I get busted on my work, whatever. If someone else gets busted on my work, that's a bigger problem.

I'm not going to pretend I know enough about insurance to fake it, partly because the surest way to crank out good IDs right now is CE and that won't let me have both fields of knowledge at once, but two out of three ain't bad. I think the insurance is more necessary if you're actively heroing, and they're probably assuming you are, what with the four arms situation.

Well, I ain't that, so long's they let me out without it, I'm not gonna complain.

...well, actually. If you want to help me with some side-project Artifact hunting, I wouldn't say no. There's no point in trying to contain absolutely everything, but a bunch of crap from some school got scattered, and rounding that up's at least giving me some direction with it.

Of course, if I was Infiltrating on that prior visit, I might be the least recognizable of the old guard. For once, I have not had my appearance altered.

But since you guys can't remember that, we have no way to be sure. I haven't been able to find anything that describes non-'possessed' interlopers, so they're probably keeping that on a really heavy lockdown.

Also possible. I'm gonna keep digging as much as I can, but I'm pushing into 'will get arrested for prying' territory.

If they are clever, they would keep anything highly classified on servers that are not accessible from external terminals anyway.

...Although I have met very few government agencies that could be considered clever.

Wouldn't necessarily slow me down for long if that was the case.
