I'm looking to expand on the resources we have available - well, more establish one and expand on the other.

The new one first: Allura-san brought up how often we've been to space, and I had the beginnings of a list trying to narrow down possible connections between jaunt worlds. I know some of the conntections are obvious - space and Questing Country, Bando and the mermaids - but if anyone's thought much about which Earths might be the same or different, that would help some too.

As for the older resource, it occurs to me that with Fortune back in play, my attempt at information on the Arcana needs updating. Does anyone have any insight into what she's up to? There's a few other holes I never managed to fill in, mostly whether Hierophant had an alias and what a few of them have in mind to do if they win, but Fortune is the biggest question mark at the moment.

Once I've got things updated I'll leave copies in the library, and on the intranet if I can get a hold of a computer for a while. The Arcana list is already on the network, and the other one will be joining it.

I do not think that either Nova Venicia or the world where bloody Arthur was king were worlds that we revisited later. Also, I do not believe that the world with the small creatures that collapsed into discs was one that we have seen again either.

Those are three of the Earths I had pegged as distinct enough to stand out, yeah. Newport could've possibly been in the same timeline as something that happened before the comet thing, but we haven't had a whole lot of jaunts like that.

We actually did revisit Newport later, although to them it was chronologically earlier - the walkabout that took place opposite Sun and Priestess's match sent us to that world's Europe during their second world war. But there was a previous Jaunt to that world as well, one that predates Moebius, and judging by the reaction of the Manticore and his Exorcist Corps, we did not make a good impression.

Nova Venezia was also a return Jaunt, with the previous trip to that world also predating Moebius.

The attempt to revive Fortuna was, at least publically, a joint effort between the Fool and the Chariot. Carbire was ecstatic at their success, if his toy horse dancing in the casino after was any indication.

It's probable that the three are allies by inclination - Rebirth, Control and Fortune have obvious overlap in ideals of seizing opportunity. A shame Beatrice was not here to see it.

That does seem likely, but doesn't necessarily mean her end goals are the same as either of theirs.

Do we know if she is an active participant at all? If she won the prior round, she may be disqualified to win this one.

On the other hand, she would be the 14th, equalizing the brackets for this second round. Unless we are missing something.

Tour Ivoire was in the mountains of Siovale, in the southwestern reaches of Terre D'Ange, which you know as France. I remember the maps. Great cataclysms and wars had reshaped the globe, but it was Earth, an unknown time past the twentieth century after the death of Yeshua bin Yosef.

I didn't know enough about that one to speculate where it might be. Thank you.

Does anyone have a map of this 'Earth' you visit so often? Or anywhere else, for that matter?

There are maps of several jaunt worlds in the library, I think. And if there's not one of Earth there, someone can make you a globe, I'm sure.

I saw the maps. There are definitely more of one world than all the others together. That's Earth?

For what it's worth, Fortune has said that she hadn't made any firm plans for starting a new round of Synodiporia until Temperance died. That forced her hand. She also said that they couldn't be brought back without the World, and that she didn't know if the method used to bring her back would even work in Temperance's case even if they could repeat it - and she wasn't sure if that was possible, either - because Temperance died outside of the bounds of the current game, and given what killed them, breaking the bounds of the game would be very unsafe.

So at the very least, one of her goals is probably to bring Temperance back, and presumably any others who are still dead by then as well.

Woah hey. Alright, I have no idea what the other stuff is about, but if we're in Space someone has to clue me up on that!

Uh, and Fortune's a pretty easy going one, from my talk with her. I can back up what That Other dude Said I'm sorry I don't know his name, in that she set this round in motion to bring back the people she lost. Also that she's been away for a very long time and she has no idea what happened in the interim.

As for what she's 'up to'? I think she just wants to win the game again for the title's sake, but from what she told me, her winning the game means everyone has a chance to do the things they want to after this is all done.

I think we might actually be outside of space right now, but there've been a few Jaunts that have taken place on or near worlds where space travel exists.

And it's technically true that she's been away, but that's because she's spent the majority of this cycle dead - the Arcana essentially changed their game's history by sending us to directly repeat an earlier Jaunt that didn't go well for her the first time, which in turn probably gave her the strength to survive the ones that seem to have actually led to her death.

You just missed another visit to space, actually. That's what kicked off the locations part of all this - it was our third trip there, fifth if you count the two visits to its dream space.

...No, we're up to at least six, since another jaunt mentioned the Starmovers first.

Anyway, if you've talked to Fortune, I think it's safe to say she found her loophole. Did you get any impression of what she thinks of the Travelers as a whole? ['Easygoing' could be a good sign, but it could also - hi Lovers - be a really, really bad one.]

As the planetary guardian of Earth, I should be able to determine if an area actually is earth, despite there being multiple versions of it. They should still be the same essentially. So if we need a confirmation somewhere and I am myself, let me know.

Oh, right- on the topic of Arcana, ROSE said she actually had a hand in Moebius.

Not like, the actual "setting everyone up to be fucking murderers", but she said she picked the moment when the vets got sent there. To maximise the fuckening up of shit, and to try and make sure Moebius-the-place got it so bad that the entire thing got shut down properly and couldn't be remade.

Did she.

I'm not sure whether that's comforting or not.

I don't know that relative cuteness helps, but what she had to say might.
