To be fair, even if half of why Joscelin wants out is that Ios is an awful person to be, the other half is that he's fundamentally non-trustworthy and Joscelin is, like, the most trustworthy.

People who are capable of restoring themselves might also want to temporarily adjust their contingencies, if they're able, to bring themselves back that way if necessary.

That's a good point, I didn't think to mention that. I guess I kind of assumed people would already be doing that.

As morally questionable as Qabil might be, deinfiltrating me will likely not go well between Thrasyllus and the other Cabalists. I'd be hunted down at best, I think - I don't think Anafiel could cover for me that much, and my mind is definitely not one the Cabalists should get access to.

It can be set up for someone other than you. And all right - I'll let you know once we hear who all needs to be restored. So far we've got a lot more people with the ability to de-infiltrate someone than we have people wanting to be de-infiltrated.
