That's assuming they are on the network, and I don't know if that's the case. All I do know so far is that they don't read like Spirit Companions, no matter what they look like. The question is why.

I don't think they're a hive mind either - they're not playing the same tune in unison; they're just all in the same key. But yeah, they are on the eerie side.

Okay, I asked Sagittarius why they're so freaked by the Tesserae, and her response was that all Spirit Companions are meant to be attuned to Questing Country itself. But they can't hear the Tesserae anymore, so they don't know if that's still true.

Yep.

Yeah, Familiars can talk to each other and other Spirit Companions; they just can't talk to any Dreamers who aren't their own. Or to Tesserae now, apparently.

Yeah, that's... concerning.

That or it turns them off, I think.

Without knowing more about them, it's hard to say, but yeah, I think that's possible.

At least it's something we know to look at now.
