Welp
...so, uh.
Has anyone else gotten an offer from those new guys about being let into their club?

[Her voice turns outright teasing.] At the same time, though, I sure wouldn't wanna let you into an exclusive club. You'd disappear with all their damn Bidents!

That aside - I think we need a look on the inside. The Arcana too jealous to let them keep your head forever, and they already shown they can run circles around these boys last time. If you think they might be right, try it, and let us know what it feels like.
If you can subscribe to our network and theirs at the same time. If not - that's good to know, too.

That's a pretty big if, though. Not sure how to test that one in advance.

All they really did with me was invite me to ask anything and then get angry about the questions, but I’d say no anyway.

I'm not taking it right now, anyway, she told me to come back in a week after all that Grant rubble clears up. But it's... I dunno, maybe it could be useful having an inside Gem.

It's not that I don't trust them, but I don't know what of what Grant's ranting about might be true.

Be careful, alright? I wouldn't want your brilliant self to get lost in a hive mind.

I-
Huh. How eager were they to offer their Conductor-yness to you?
no subject
I haven't made up my mind yet, to be honest.

I mean, if you think you can keep your own head in there, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to have someone on the inside.
Though- I don't know, we have ways of like. Backing up people's memory states, right? I think? It might be a good idea to do that before. Just in case, you know?
no subject
But having a back-up of me, or something scanned and prepared for comparing before and after seems like a really good idea.
...so how many people can do stuff like that again? [She knows it's a lot.]

[After a few seconds, Yukki actually gets a private invite: a mental door-handle to Bismuth's Mind Palace.]

[Yeah, she's going to just find a nice spot in the Workshop and take that invite.]

There's some danger in not being able to feel those things. I've experienced something like it once, and it was great, but afterward I can definitely see how dangerous it could be. You would certainly get more reckless, you know? Leah deliberately thanked me and the other Oracles for being their sense of restraint for them.

[Thace is controlling his initial reaction as tightly as he can, but Shiro might have felt the moment of alarm through the Bond.]

I care for you deeply, and I think we both rely on one another when things get tough. The Bond is auxiliary to that, it's not the cause or foundation - we'd still be close, still come to one another with problems, still be able to use the Network to talk across distance. But it's hard to think about losing that instant connection.
It means a lot to me, and I rely on it.
