Bad news, everybody. I just found out that Zed's been having people rig the voting machines. Worse, since they're direct-recording electronic, there's no paper record like with a scantron.

I'm going to be talking to Daneel--the vavassour--about this tonight and the candidates and even Zed himself. I suggest everyone who's been staying at Zed's place should go back and get whatever stuff they don't want to leave behind right now, because I'm not sure how welcome we're going to be once I talk to Zed. We should be able to stay at the Kurgan until the end of the Jaunt, however. It can't be much longer.

Yeah. I mean, this Zed is shady in an adult way, if nothing else. Normal Zed pulls dumb kiddy stunts like pants theft.

Well, I mean, his arch-enemy is, like, ten. So pulling kiddy shit like that actually fits.

Yeah. I mean, he, like, transforms into an older version of himself, it's some real old-fashioned Magical Girl type shit, but he's totally ten.

We talked a little bit after Bærry was killed and Joker got attacked, but otherwise no.

Well, that's Zed's arch-enemy. He's a little kid half the time.

Is this his first Jaunt?

Think so. He's got some weird thing going where he's the right age in Liminal and then suddenly a teenager when he's in the Jaunt.

That seems like kind of a double-edged sword.

Yeah. I mean, what if some other teens see him and are all like HEY RIGHT WANNA UNDERAGE DRINK WITH US AND SMOKE CIGARETTES AND LOOK AT GIRLY MAGS? Peer pressure could, like, warp his fifth-grade mind.

[Minako is once more reminded of Ken, and the ways he'd tried to act more adult upon finding himself living with a group of teenagers; she'd had a terrible time even getting him to admit to liking sentai shows because he'd been so focused on not looking "childish."]

Infiltrating will probably be really, really weird for him.

Yeah, I bet. It's one thing to be a kid in teen's clothing, it's another thing to really be a teen.

Although it has happened before - a couple of the younger Travelers got aged up for the Anime High School Jaunt.

I still can't believe I missed that one.

Maybe they'll send us back there sometime, since that seems to be a thing now.
