[Walkabout] Evening of the first day
Okay, kids. Don't know how many of you know shit about livin' where there's no roads or pre-packaged dinners, but this is what I've been doin' half my life. So listen up.
First thing we need is water. Found that. It's south-east from where we landed, looks like this.
[And he gives them a livestream of the brook he's found trickling out to the ocean proper. It's not like your normal livestream, in that Riddick's vision is tinged bright violet, seems to focus mostly on heat and movement, and if you can parse through both of those things, you can tell it is completely unhampered by the darkness.]
Nobody come down here yet, though. There's predators on this island, or there were last time I was here, and most of 'em are nocturnal. So stay put and stay together until dawn, much as you can. Might even be smart if we did our sleeping in liminal space, until we find some sign there's still people here.
Second thing we need is food. There's animals here we can hunt, and probably some edible fruit and shit, but we've got liminal space, too. Anybody who can make food we can actually eat, do that. I'm gonna pop into liminal space to give it a shot myself, here, in a minute.
There used to be people on this island. Used to be, it was kept protected by a force field thing. I think that's probably still there, so don't go swimmin' out too far, or you'll hit it. Nasty shit happens when you do that. Ain't seen any sign of the people yet, but that don't mean they ain't here somewhere. Think that should probably be thing number three. Findin' out where the people went to, if they're still here somewhere. Might be a good idea to start searching this place in the morning.

I noticed the clouds appeared to be behaving strangely as we arrived, like they were passing through something. It's reasonable to assume from this that the forcefield is indeed still in place. What precisely happens when someone touches it? ['Nasty shit' is so vague.]

Gives you a good zap, knocks you out. Pretty sure it's some kind of electromagnetic thing. Not great since to get to it you gotta swim or fly, and that basically means it drowns you or you get eaten by sharks. So. Nasty shit.

Or get somebody to get a crash course with me for a day before you break off. Whichever.
[As reluctant as he sounds to go through training courses with people, either he's finally learned how to help people all on his own, or something of his last Infiltrator self is still holding on to make him actually care that the Travelers don't get eaten by wild animals or fall into any pits.]

[However you spell it.]
If we can make food and sleep in Liminal Space, that should cover the basics...it might be a good idea to make like, tents or something in case we can't fit everyone through portals.

Depends on if we run out of making-shit-mojo. Don't know how limited that is. Don't think we've got a shortage of people who can make portals, though.

[Of course that's what he fixates on out of everything Riddick's said...]
But that's when I'm most likely to be out doing things...

I might be able to help with hunting, since I've still got a wraithwolf's stealth, but most of my weapon proficiency revolves around guns and blades.
[And somehow, he doesn't think a coilwhip will be all that helpful for the purpose, although a whipstaff might.]

[That's...probably about the only thing she can contribute. She might be able to hunt, if she had a rifle, but she does not. So.]
Though I dunno how long I can keep that up without a power source.

I'm not late at all shhhh
[Can he fight off wild animals? Yeah, probably. Does he trust himself to be able to do that out of a dead sleep? Not really.]
