What the fuck was that noise last night, odds it's something we're here to deal with, and how do we make it stop?

There's a giant pond here. I don't know if being in Liminal Space will have an effect, but if this thing has something to do with why we're here, it might be better to figure out as much as we can before we get where we're going.
